Alessandra writes a review of two documentaries on postcolonial Italy: Simone Brioni’s La quarta via: Mogadiscio, Italia (ITA, english subtitles, Kimerafilm 2012, 38') and Aulò: Roma Postcoloniale (ITA, english subtitles, Kimerafilm 2012, 48'). She argues that Brioni shows that, against the anachronism anchoring nationality in the law of blood, video making and writing emerge as significant political acts that subject the rigidity of citizenship laws to a radical rewriting.
