Iker Barbero has been invited to teach for 2 weeks as part of the Doctorate Decree in Democratic Society, State and Law at the National University of San Antonio Abad in Cuzco, Peru. His teaching focuses on globalisation, state and citizenship: Migrations and the emergence of new legal subjects.

Oecumene: Citizenship after Orientalism is funded by an European Research Council (ERC) Advanced Grant (Institutions, values, beliefs and behaviour ERC-AG-SH2).
